Jackie Hunsaker received her Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Washington and went on to a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the Cornish School of the Arts in Seattle and a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York.
In 1983-84 she was in the Intern Education Department at the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn, New York as an art instructor. After returning to Seattle, she has held several positions as art instructor at Shoreline Community College and the Bush School in Seattle.
Ms. Hunsaker's first solo exhibition (excluding her MFA thesis exhibit) was in 1987 at the Cunningham Gallery, University of Washington in Seattle. Since 1984 her work has been featured in over a dozen solo and group exhibitions and can be seen in a number of public collections in the Seattle area.
